Born and raised in Melbourne. Her love affair with musicals and poetry began at the age of 13.
Since then has seeked vocal and songwriting advice from the likes of Talei Wolfgramm , Ainslie Wills, Hailey Cramer, Jesse Hooper (Killing Hiedi) and Stevic Mackay (Twelve Foot Ninja).
Issy’s songwriting draws from her eclectic taste in music. Influences of folk, pop, chamber, theatre and R&B can be heard within her songs. Reminiscent of Artists such as Sara Bareilles and Kate Miller Heidke, her lyrical content touches on experiences of love, youth and identity.
Fresh to the Melbourne music scene, she has already performed at events held at places such as Spotted Mallard,The Toff in Town and The Workers Club. Issy’s live shows are an invitation to an emotional and authentic performance with her ukulele by her side.
